History
The Origins of ZP-0:
ZP-0, known only in whispers as the Zero Protocol, is a clandestine syndicate deeply woven into the shadowed alleys of UEE-controlled space and the dangerous depths beyond. Formed long before it became a syndicate, ZP-0 started as an elite counterintelligence faction within the United Empire of Earth (UEE), a highly classified “black cell” designed to handle sensitive operations the government could never publicly admit to.
During the early Messer Era, the UEE commissioned covert agents to track down dangerous smugglers, target political threats, and silence rising insurgent movements—missions buried in secrecy and untraceable to the UEE itself. These agents, trained to be shadows in the dark, formed the heart of ZP-0. They answered to no official UEE records, and most citizens never even suspected their existence.
The “Severance” Incident:
In 2792, following the fall of the Messers and the opening of political reforms, many of the classified projects were shuttered, erased from records, or left to fade into obscurity. ZP-0, however, did not disappear so easily. During the Severance Incident—a disastrous internal purge meant to eliminate all traces of past covert agencies—ZP-0 agents chose to go rogue rather than face elimination.
Operating without the UEE’s support, these agents took their skills and resources underground, forming the Zero Protocol. The organization quickly adapted to the lucrative galaxy-wide markets of smuggling and bounty hunting, using their elite training to bypass planetary defenses, forge identities, and evade detection.
The Syndicate Emerges:
Over decades, ZP-0 grew from a small network of ex-operatives into a powerful syndicate of smugglers, bounty hunters, and intelligence brokers. Retaining their dedication to secrecy, ZP-0 established itself as the elite of the underworld—highly selective, operating on a need-to-know basis, and adhering to strict codes of discretion. Members are identified by designations, never names, and outsiders rarely see their faces. Their influence extends from the desolate reaches of the Pyro System to the high-traffic corridors of Stanton, with rumors of their activities in every corner of the Verse.
Current Operations:
Today, ZP-0 operates on the edge of the law and just beyond the UEE’s reach. They specialize in high-risk, high-reward smuggling operations, often handling contraband, black market goods, and information too sensitive for common channels. They are equally feared and respected in bounty hunting circles, known for their surgical precision and ability to track the untraceable.
ZP-0 remains true to its roots: unknown, unseen, unstoppable. For those who wish to find them, a whisper in the right circles might be the only way—but once contacted, ZP-0 leaves no loose ends, either in deals or in enemies.
Manifesto

In this galaxy of chaos, Division-0 operates with unyielding discipline and unwavering resolve, committed to the art of mastery in all things covert.

Charter
Division-0 Public Rules
Welcome to Division-0. As a member of this esteemed organization, you are expected to uphold the following rules and conduct yourself with the highest level of professionalism and integrity. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to expulsion from the organization.
1. Respect and Professionalism
All members must treat each other with respect, regardless of rank, background, or opinions.
Discrimination, harassment, or any form of offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
Maintain a professional attitude in all interactions, both in and outside the organization.
2. Confidentiality and Security
Sensitive information regarding Division-0’s operations, strategies, and assets must be kept strictly confidential.
Sharing internal affairs or mission details with unauthorized parties is strictly prohibited.
All communication within Division-0 should be conducted via secure channels.
3. Integrity and Accountability
Members are expected to conduct themselves with honesty and accountability at all times.
Falsifying reports, misusing resources, or engaging in deceitful behavior will result in immediate investigation and potential expulsion.
