Efficiency: Evict Illegal Occupants vs Assist Defense

o7 Citizens,

I'm looking for some tips on doing Bunker Missions. Are there any ways to speed up Evict Illegal Occupants missions to get us about the same amount of aUEC as Assist Base Defense?

What do you think is the fastest way to get the mission done?
I have an C1 Spirit, X1 Force, A1 and A2 Bombers, Harbinger.

Coming back from 3.12 I can no longer land "behind" the entrance lol. Tips please?

For evict, park outside of 2k or a little less to stay out of gun range, if things are synced and working well that day, you can hide your ship behind geometry and get closer, then take your X1 in the rest of the way. Not going to be as efficient as Defends for things like parking right there and hauling loot out. Get rep up to have DCs as an option too.

I thought so as well... And as you said, I'd be missing out on the loot too as I can't just dump them into the ship.

Since there's no way to speed this up, I'll just stick to doing Assist Base Defenses.

Not to shock you but looting is all but moot now:
  • T0 Item Recovery coming in 4.1 means you spawn in what you die in. You no longer need to loot armor or weapons beyond your preferences once you have them. You cannot lose them. They cannot be taken away from you. Looting for equipment just became defunct in the game. Yes this is bad.
  • There's little point in looting to sell for aUEC as the returns are so small it's much more efficient to just leave and do the next mission. Ammo has gone up greatly in price though, so loot ammo. Everything else, leave behind.

Okay, I get it that they're trying to streamline the gameplay and what not...
but wow, that's... ... a very interesting move.

I've done a bit of bunkers on merc side and never really understood why I should do the evict when it pays less, is there a higher chance of loot in there? Some drugs I could appropriate or something? It seems like a bad idea to park outside because people can find your ship and destroy it/strip it for their own amusement...

EDIT: I hope these missions will give full rewards to everyone in party at some point to enforce co-op, multicrew so someone could be on a lookout and a team sent inside etc etc

Yeah I just noticed it last night, I logged in after work and was shocked to see that evict pays so little for all that extra trouble.
I'm not even gonna bother.

I'll stick to the Assist Defense > Bounty > Assist Defense > Loop

It is possible. But an A2 Bomb costs 10k aUEC to drop. Massive hit to the paycheck.
