Looking for Questions: Star Citizen Live - Making Mission II-2
July 1st 2024 at 1:43 pm
Hey everyone,
This Friday at 8 AM Pacific / 15:00 UTC on Twitch, Star Citizen Live is Making Mission II-2, where Jorrit and Nick return to play the new cargo mission they created on last week's show.
And if you've missed last week's show, you can find it on YouTube, with the mission and economy teams popping the hood open on how a contract is built, plus discussions on what's next for delivery duties in Alpha 3.24.
We'll see you there!

I think a little more clarification is needed on EVR. 4k is a low number, but only because of the aUEC/hr rate that we see with things like mining and salvage and many other things in the 3.23 patch, can we expect to see a more drastic change across the board in terms of how we earn aUEC in 3.24?

How will the loading times for ships be balanced going forward? Evocati reports loading times of 5 hours for a C2 and as high as 38 hours for a Hull C. This likely isn't the intended balance for Live but will is be based off the average eloadings times for players while in the PTU?

Are there plans in the future to allow for missions that encompass more elements than just one type of gameplay. Where adaptability and working as a group with several ships upto and including capital ships will be required for completion?

What's the status of multipart missions that pit groups of players against each other to achieve an opposing goal?
(Example: Steal these items from this facility and deliver at x, for 2 groups. Another group gets mission to defend this facility, Another again to recover stolen goods before they reach x, etc)

Will there be missions for 9Tails or other criminal groups to smuggle contraband or already designated stolen goods into or within lawful systems.
Like Pyro to stanton or stanton to a higher security system or within those two higher security systems

We have lots of missions that are playable right now, that no one plays because the payouts aren't enticing enough relative other options. When the 'Quantum' economy/npc simulator arrives in theory prices ought to rise or fall until there is a rough equivalent enticement, but until then, what is the plan to ensure these new missions aren't underpriced and therefore underused, undercutting your great efforts?

If i have a ship with a Command Module (Caterpillar for example) could i work in a cargo company where instead of waiting for the ship to be loaded i simply undock my Command Module and go to dock to another ship with its cargo previously arranged and immediately begin the trip?
