A fresh "roadmap" update is here! Except, it features no road. It posted a vague 1.0 card with no target dates, and no concrete points of delivery towards one. Basically recap of citizencon powerpoints, but what makes it worse, many features that are "coming in 12 months" from citizencon 2023 ended up on that card too, meaning they are postponed indefinitely? But that doesn't answer the part of how do we get there, CIG. What are your plans of managing it? 4.0 just got stripped down of even more of it's promised features, (called it), removing engineering, life support, sunflares (Pyro without flares, imagine), and worst of all, transit refactor. There go our dreams of having at least journey between hab and hangar being better than it is now. What happens to them? Bounty hunting 2.0? Hacking? What are the plans for post butchered 4.0 release, CIG? That is the point of a roadmap, to layout a plan of delivery. And in the context of a crowd-funded, open-development project that exists on the backs of the community's good will, to have accountability for at least some resemblance of the plan. But apparently, there is no plan, and out of citcon 2023 "coming in 12 months" most of the features were cut off, now it's not even being talked about. The heck is this, CIG?
