Go further below if you want to see more, as I can't post everything in the first post The Orca is basically a heavy storm piercer, able to remain stable in the midle of a storm, resistant against acid rains and whatever a planet with hostile weather have to offer. This is a spaceship I started drawing a will ago with the black boa from "final fantasy: the spirit within" as an inspiration. The size would be beetween a constellation and a carrack, so around 80 meters, for a crew of 4 to 6 with a large cargo bay. I intended it to provied a reliable option when exploring, traveling through or mining on planets with difficult atmospheric conditions. The 4 external propulsors provie aditional stability for landing, take off and sustained stationary flight while the armored hull and cockpit provie aditionnal safty and use optics and cameras to construct a 3d view on 180° of the exterior for the pilot, giving great visibilty but weakness against EMPs (something like the Prowler’s cockpit). I didn’t think of a manufacturer will making it even if it’s somewhate close to MISC or ORIGIN (though I like the idea made by Sirius N Lupus (on the old forum thread) of a colaborative work beetween the two of them). I have draw a manned turret ( only the cockpit due to the fact that we can choose between multiple weapons or scaners) but an unmanned/remote one is a far more logical choice due to the Orca being intended to basically fly through storms. The 4 external propulsors obviously move to fullfile their role. The Orca is comprised of 3 decks linked by an elevator: Top deck : - the cockpit (1pilot + 1 copilot + 2 turret gunners + 1 monitor for quick look on the ship statu or navigation) + a third (rear) turret gunner seat (on the right side, next to the elevator) - the docking room with space for 3 suits and a corridor with 6 seats + 1 big holographic navigation display (the big ball) - the ingeniery room + reactors room - on the left side, 2 bedrooms for one + 2 bedrooms for two ( each equipped with 1 suit storage, weapons racks and storage for clothes and other things per person) - on the right side, the mess hall/breifing room + 2 showers and 2 wc (separated) - in the rear, 6 escape pods, a water tank and food (crates) storage + 1 rear room used to lauch counter-mesures, probes or small mines Middle deck : - the infirmary with one tier 2 and one tier 3 medical beds + medical storage - storage for 9 suits (intended for 4 cold temperture + 4 hot temperture + 1 extra) - armory with racks, ammunition crates and workbench The 2 semi-hexagons of the middle deck are made out of glass which allow to see downward. Lower deck : - a 2 parts large cargo bay The manned turret cockpit and where I would place the turrets (red spots): I have absolutely zero artistic background, which mean I'm terrible with 3D view as I never learned how to use effectively construction lines. So don't expect too much 3D views from me, sorry update: Here come the links beetween the main hull and the 4 external propulsors (not much changed for the rear/back view unexpectedly) and the unmanned/remote turret "cockpit":
