I received a Thrustmaster T.16000M HOTAS as a gift and have been trying to get it set up in Star Citizen 3.21. I have been purely Keyboard/Mouse for this or any other game and am excited to get this up and running, but the configuration seems overly complex... I find 2 "default" Control Profiles that seem to be possible matches: "Thrustmaster T.16000M + TWCS" and "Thrustmaster T.16000M HOTAS X". What I don't find is ANY documentation on these included profiles anywhere. Maybe I am just not looking in the right place? I have no problem getting them to perform basic flight control, but I would really like to know what the binding are - if any - for the other controls. Some I can figure out, but seem backward (power controls seem reversed top and bottom for example). Others don't seem to do anything - at least not in Arena Commander - offline free flight. So, I guess my questions are: 1) Is there documentation for these profiles somewhere - something that indicates what functions are mapped to what controls? 2) Is there some reasonably intuitive way to know what the difference is between the two profiles mentioned above and which would "best" match my hardware? 3) Is there some interface that would let me see what is mapped to a control I press (e.g. I press joystick 2 button 1 and I get a list of what is mapped to that control or "unmapped"? (Ideally, this would also display the information that the button pressed is joystick 2 button 1 as the only place I see that is when I actually make an assignment). I've watched several videos and read some articles on this, but I don't have a lot of time to play to begin with and now I am spending all my time just trying to figure out how to set this up - It shouldn't require hours of fiddling just to get a decent basic set up going.... oh, and I am not currently using the Thrustmaster Target software, but I could if there is a good reason to... Thanks in advance for anything you can provide that can speed this process along for me.
