MoviesCongratulations to Gary Oldman (Admiral Bishop - SQ42) with winning your Oscar for your performance in "The Darkest Hour" It's about time you are recognized for the fine work that you do no matter what venue you perform in.
I look forward to what you have in store for us with Squadron 42.

Oscars are so vain and behind the times ... nobody cares about them anymore.
The fact that "Boss baby" got a nomination just shows you how ignorant the oscars are.
Literaly the only people that care about the oscars are the ones in the internal circle je*k.

Cool, good for him.
Haven't seen the film myself. I'll have to pick up a copy next time I'm at the local shop... only costs a buck per disc here so I usually pick up anything new.
Didn't even know the Oscar thing was tonight. Was the host any good? Maybe watch a recap or something...

A true genius; had a wonderful time watching ~The Darkest Hour~ Sunday evening. And, then hear he had won next day seemed inevitable. I was only disappointed that the story ended at declaration. Will have to watch Dunkirk to fill the void.
When the broadcast light flashed red, at that moment Churchill looked into soul of England. I've never felt someone reach through the film media in such a transcendent way. It was heart griping.
Well done, Mr Oldman.
