White walls, black and blue accents, grey floor, grey and blue ceiling: an interesting color scheme. I think the real one is grey with a bit more grey and a hint of grey on top of that. Why can't they keep the color scheme from concept art at the very least?

It makes no sense to not keep the feeling from the concept especially they advertised the interior vibe even via text as something for the wellbeing of the crew.
And what do they do? ... They dont care about what they sold with the concept. They did shades of grey with minimal lighting like the whole ship is a prision or even worse.

The interior of the Polaris is not drab.
The beauty of a ship for me is everything - i could ccu my Perseus to the Polaris but until the Polaris looks beautiful like the Carrack or 890 im not going anywhere near it.

Yeah, the pool table and just look at that lightning. You know, it's late evening, crew got some R&R, tune down the light for some relaxation.
I wish they put the time into the Polaris interior, it certainly got left hanging.

The mess hall is even arbitrarily shorter than it could be... the space of that crew hab area that continues forward from the point of entry is the space that is unused between the mess and the turret access.

Although I doubt it'll happen, I sincerely hope CIG revisits the interior of the Polaris. It is blatantly obvious that the lighting, layout, and overall design scheme was incredibly rushed to meet the IAE deadline they committed to.

I still suspect that the new ships will be a blank canvas for us to decorate. Things like that UEE flag would be placeable.
