Born beneath an unknown star, I learned early that blood means nothing. Among the Vanduul, you are not given a place — you earn it. Cast from my clan with nothing but a blade, I crossed the dark between systems and found my worth in combat. Humanity calls us monsters. I call them prey. I no longer remember the name given at birth. The name I earned is all that remains.
