James Robert Joseph Cooper (a.k.a. Jimmy, Bobby-Joe, or Jimbo) was born in the outskirts of Lorville, on Hurston, in the Stanton system. His parents were blue-collar industrial workers for Hurston Dynamics. In his earlier years, he worked at a scrap processing center near Lorville. Eventually, he developed a high aptitude for disassembling machines and analyzing the internal workings of their mechanisms. He is now the owner-operator of a one-person business, called "Jimbo's Garage and Junkyard", working as a ship mechanic, ship parts transporter, and space junk salvager. He owns an Aegis Vulcan for repairing & resupplying, ARGO SRV for towing & hauling, and Drake Vulture for reclamation & salvaging. He also owns a Tumbril Cyclone and "Argo Cargo" for localized planetside scrap transport. James is a compulsive hoarder of ship parts, regularly scavenging for components, weapons, and scrap metal. He spends a vast majority of his time rummaging through the debris piles in Hurston's various waste areas.
