Tou "Sunshine" Fabray was born and raised on MICROTECH as daughter of Benjamin and Cassiopeia Fabray.
Her parents, both being MICROTECH employees, were able to support a solid education. She went for a medical study and graduated with exceptional good results.
She was offered a good position as a junior doctor at the Brentworth Care Center on New Babbage but, much to the horror of her parents, instead decided to go and work as an emergency physician. Tou moved to Port Tressler and joined the SAR emergency response team.
Her callsign "Sunshine" was given to her from a colleague who started it as a joke about her hair colour. It stuck.
