Originally born on Terra, Catori's family moved to Bloom (Pyro III) in the Pyro star system to start a new life upon her father's retirement. Her father being a career military man in the UEE Navy would be away for months at a time while her mother was closer to home working as a civilian scientist contractor for the Civilian Defense Force.
She had two older brothers, one of which has taken a more radical direction following the events of the Battle for Vega and the growing unrest in the Pyro System.
The other sibling, the eldest brother, had served with the UEE Navy as a Marine who was stationed on the Vega 2 colony during the Vanduul incursion.
When she was older, Catori was brought to the Stanton system by her Mother as Pyro was becoming increasingly hostile. Her other brother remained in Pyro, choosing to fight for the people of Bloom. Later, Catori decided to follow in both her Father's and Elder Brother's footsteps and enlisted in the UEE Navy.
