2953 Arlington Gang Screenshot Contest

Esscrin, Mr-S, and myself, Reconson, of The Drengr Raiders, from the Halls of Valhalla, took to the stars to take on the infamous Arlington Gang who have commandeered an Aegis Idris. We started our approach with the Drake Corsair Ripping through the shields and puncturing the hull of the Idris. After diligently fighting and getting hammered by the size 10 railgun, our systems began to malfunction and we began to plummet. With Mr-S' quick thinking he managed to regain control. Using our quantum drive, we jumped to a nearby outpost to grab an Anvil Pisces. There for some odd reason I decided to do situps. We then regrouped at Grim Hex. We said to ourselves "We need more firepower". So we returned full speed towards the Arlington Gang with an Aegis Retaliator, to Retaliate. As is the name. Using missiles we managed to outgun the Idris' shield generator allowing Esscrin and myself to tear through one of its main thrusters, subsequently causing the Idris to be less mobile than it already was. With the crippled Idris giving chase, we headed to a nearby outpost to change the pace of the fight. As the Idris slowly approached we scattered into nimble Mirai Fury's leaving blurs in the sight of the Arlington Gang. After a few casualities and having slowly peppered the Idris, we decided to take out one of my most favorite heavy fighters. The RSI Scorpius. Mr-S Piloting with Distortion Repeaters and missiles at his disposal, and your boy on the big guns up top rocking 4x size 3 Panther Repeaters. With the best coordination you will ever see in a two man ship, we sent that damned Idris along with its crew to fiery hell in a spectacular explosion of an ending.
