DE LA COEUR CATERING: SPACE SURVIVAL WITH FLAVOR SINCE 2947

VOICEOVER (PRE-COMMERCIAL):

Fade in to sights and sounds of ArcCorp the city planet - Zooms into Area 18 during Invictus 2955. The busy Riker Memorial Spaceport with ships coming in and out, holding patterns waiting for hangar spots to open.

VOICEOVER (SMOOTH, SOPHISTICATED): "Area 18, where the universe comes to celebrate... and wait in line."

Zoom into Area 18 skyline with fireworks and the UEE doing flybys. A massive Idris docked at the top of a skyscraper. Pan down to ArcCorp Plaza filled with milling crowds of visitors and city inhabitants. Lens draws in closer to a Cityflight shuttle and moves to crowded interior.

In the crowd is a group of twenty or so individuals in matching org armor, they sport bulging backpacks, hold plushie dolls for souvenirs, or containers with beverages. They look excited but tired from the journey to the event. The leader of the group is looking at his MobiGlas and shaking his head, muttering to one of his officers.

Leader: "I have good news and bad news. The bad news is getting food around here is going to be nearly impossible unless everyone eats at street vendor stalls for the event. Every single restaurant is booked out with reservations and walk-ins are reporting five plus hours of waiting times to get the worst seats in the house or stand on outdoor patios. The good news is we booked habs a year in advance so have a place to drop off our luggage and clean up before heading out to see the sights."

Org officer 1: (dramatically clutching chest) "Wow Ace, that's some tough glass to swallow! You know how surly this crew gets if they don't get meals before nap time. It's like trying to negotiate with a hangar full of hungry Kopion! What are we going to do?"

Leader: "It's a long shot, but I overheard something about this new catering service in the spaceport bar. The stories were out of this world about the gourmet food and easy-on-the-eye service. Let me see if I can find it, What was that name again? Oh yeah, De La Coeur Catering."

Pulls up Mobi and sends a message inquiring about availability and prices. Then, looking out the window, beads of sweat start to show. The crew is starting to talk about being hungry in the background. Someone in the back shouts, "I could eat a Carrack right now!" followed by nervous laughter.

After only a couple of minutes, a message notification appears from De La Coeur Catering. The leader opens it, dreading that they are booked up too. Instead, it's a message about how they happen to be in the area and would look forward to helping him, and they attach a list of questions to fill out and send back.

Leader: (reading from MobiGlas, impressed) "Wow, they responded faster than a quantum jump!"

Opening the lists, there are questions about where they are staying, how many in the party, scrumptious menu selections, locations available for the group to relax and dine in the area, both local and exotic, and prices that are fair and reasonable! He fills out the questions and sends it back tapping his feet impatient for the response.

Org officer 1: "What's up boss? You look like as jittery as those sweaty space jocks who tried to jump our claim?"

Leader: "I think the stories I heard might be true! I was able to contact De La Coeur and got a response, now I'm crossing my fingers hoping everything falls into place. I think I found just the ticket for these guys for dinner and activities tonight."

MobiGlas chimes with confirmation and time for luxury pickup and transfer to the event and back with an upfront percentage of the fee. The leader sighs in relief and puts a hand on his officer's shoulder with a smile.

Leader: "Operation Eats is a go! Transportation will be waiting to pick us all up at the habs and we are going to have a great time!"

A short time later the Org assembles on the hab rooftop as a sleek 600i in Sterling livery descends and drops the large elevator to permit access to the interior. As the elevator descends, a holographic display of the De La Coeur logo shimmers in the air.

Inside they are greeted by a striking blonde woman with a commanding presence and a warm smile.

Sosie: "Welcome aboard, gentlemen and ladies! I'm Sosie, your captain and culinary curator for the evening. At De La Coeur, we don't just feed you—we rescue you from the culinary wasteland of festival food stalls!"

The group laughs as they're shown to the bar and seating areas where they can play pool, drink, and enjoy exotic hors d'oeuvres served by beautiful men and women in fashionable outfits.

Sosie: (mixing a cocktail with impressive flair) "You know, the last admiral who tried my signature Nova Burst cocktail offered me a commission on the spot. I told him I prefer commanding my own ship—better view, better company, and absolutely no paperwork." She winks and slides the shimmering blue drink across the bar.

Through the expansive windows, scenes of the evening city skyline pass by. After an appropriate time, the ship settles and comes to a rest.

Sosie: "Now for the pièce de résistance! We've secured exclusive access to one of the best rooftop views in Area 18. And since I know how to pull strings better than a master puppeteer, we have a special guest joining us."

They are shown to a new rooftop with expansive views of the skyline with the fireworks. Tables, comfy chairs, and amazing foods are served. As the group settles in, they notice a Banu merchant in elaborate trade robes approaching with Sosie.

Sosie: "Everyone, meet Lowiloom, one of the most exciting Banu merchantmen in this sector. He's brought some special treats you won't find anywhere else in the 'verse."

Lowiloom: (bowing slightly) "Sosie-friend understates. Our meeting is profitable exchange! You taste delicacies from Banu worlds, I receive stories of your adventures. Fair trade, yes?" He gestures to several attendants who begin setting out exotic glowing fruits and strange confections.

As the evening progresses, Lowiloom shares stories of distant trade routes while Sosie moves among the guests, ensuring everyone's needs are met.

Leader: (to Sosie) "This is incredible! How did you arrange all this on such short notice?"

Sosie: (leaning in conspiratorially) "Let's just say when you've outmaneuvered pirates in the Pyro system and negotiated with Advocacy secret agents, securing the perfect dinner venue is child's play. Besides, I know everyone worth knowing in Area 18." She straightens up "And frankly, anyone I don't know isn't worth knowing!"

The Org has a wonderful time. As they enjoy the ride back to the habs, they are given parting gifts for the Invictus events—small boxes containing rare ship model miniatures and crystallized exotic fruits.

Org officer 1: "That was incredible, Boss! The crew is going to remember that for a long time, and it really sets a good mood for the manufacturer's show!"

Leader: "Yep, that was amazing and worth every credit." Looks at the final bill and smiles as he sends the funds.

Sosie: (as they depart) "Remember, gentlemen and ladies, while everyone else at Invictus is standing in lines and eating from greasy paper cartons, you've dined like admirals! De La Coeur doesn't just cater—we elevate!"

As the org members exit, one whispers to another: "I heard Sosie once outflew three pirate Polaris while serving a five-course meal without spilling a drop!"

Fade out showing a 600i flashing across the Area 18 skyline with fireworks, with the De La Coeur logo and tagline appearing:

VOICEOVER: "De La Coeur Catering: Because at Area 18, the restaurant waitlists are longer than an 890 Jump and twice as exclusive."

Final tagline appears: "From survival rations to stellar celebrations—contact us on your MobiGlas today!"
