Ship Showdown 2953
Past event
August 7 to August 21
C2 Hercules for 2953 BIS.
When I toured the C2, M2, and A2 at Invictus 2951, the C2 was my definite favourite. One of the nicest non-luxury ships to live out of in the ‘verse.

I love my C2 Hercules. The C2 was a first for me. Whenever there has been militarized versions of a ship, that’s always been my preferred ship. Freelancer MIS, Reliant Tana, 125a, 325a, etc. But when I toured the C2, M2, and A2 at Invictus 2951, the C2 was my definite favourite. One of the nicest non-luxury ships to live out of in the ‘verse.
I hadn’t intended to own or fly one. I was saving up for a 600i Explorer, and that chain led me to owning a C2 as of IAE 2951. I flew it semi-regularly for the next six months and by Invictus 2952, when I finally had all the pieces of my 600i, I didn’t want to give up my C2.
So now I have both.
Landing a Hercules takes practice and finesse. It is probably the most nose-heavy ship in the ‘verse. My biggest complaint with the C2 Hercules is that it only needs 1-2 people to fly it effectively, but it could easily be a home for a family of 3-4. Rearrange the habs into individual rooms like was done with the Corsair, and you have a nice family home.
I love the flexibility that I can run cargo, or a racing team. I normally have given the pilot S5 laser cannons and replaced the turret cannons with Rhinos. Currently, the pilot has gimballed Rhinos, but I’m considering replacing them with AD5Bs.
