To follow Drake Interplanetary's design, the Sparrow utilizes a singular large engine for high levels of forward thrust to close on targets quickly to unload the painful barrage from the Revenant Gatling mounted to the base of the snub craft.

While not as agile as most snub craft, the Sparrow focuses more on closing distance, intercepting and shredding targets.
