Luminalia 2954: Pico's Luminalia

Merry Luminalia to you all ! This year Pico has been a real good boy , so now is the time to reward him generously bu spending together the best of Luminalia's day! :)

I had a lot of fun in game to collect the gifts and find the perfect sleigh for transporting Pico's gifts as well as setting the scene and learning to snowboard with Pico :D

Like every year, i tryed to build a Luminalia Tree with the small green gifts, so we collected more than 400 of them, spending long in game sessions from cities to cities and exploring every corners of them! We placed all the Luminalia gifts in a 2 SCU box. Then we made some tests in a hangar to find out the best way to create the tree. We opted for a basement made of armor parts and covering them with the small gifts. Unfortunately, we discovered that the gifts were moving like there were mice inside, so no way to fix them to build the tree. Moreover they were desappearing at some point, so i opted for a different scene.

Then we spent time to find the perfect place for Pico to practice snowboard. We used medium fighters to prospect many zones on Microtech.

The next step was to collect all of the big gifts from the "unverified missions" . I used my pisces and Etmo used his Terrapin. Unfortunately, we have encountered many difficulties with the turrets shooting at us and the gifts glitching and falling down the planet before we can put them in my hangar. We still collected 14 of them after about 10 missions, so we were quite satisfied !

We spent more than 100h to prepare everything and about 5h to shoot the scenes. We had to wait every 110mn to keep a bright day light to shoot the video! That was funny to superimpose our lifes to Microtech clock :)

At the end, I put every big gifts and the box with the 400 small green boxes in my Carrack and Etmo took his Med Terrapin and we went , on the "Microtech surfing session" with Pico :) That was a beautiful day with a lot of laughs and snowboard tests !!
