The Musashi Industrial Starflight Concern Freelancer MAX is one hell of a ship that easily punches above its weight class. With a length of 38m, a beam of 36m and a height of 9.5m, it lands squarely in the Medium ship class, albeit a bit heavy at a little over 326k kg, but it flies and handles well with plenty of power. The MAX has tremendous boost reserves and a decent top speed. Equipped with an XL-1, the MAX can speedily cross the Stanton system on a single tank. A wide-open cargo hold allows the MAX to safely transport 120 SCU of cargo or two URSA Rover/Cyclone sized vehicles, as well as all grav-lev vehicles. Dual S2 Shield generators give plenty of time to escape any serious trouble and the offensive armament of quad pilot-controlled weapons, 4 stock S2 Missiles and a manned turret allow the crew of a MAX to deal with minor threats quite easily. Speaking of the crew, it has 4 seats in the cockpit and 4 beds/escape pods for logging or jettisoning out in, as well as basic amenities. The MAX also has 3 different entry/exit points making it one of the easiest ships to quickly get in and out of. In your FACE, MSR! The MAX is one of the most useful ships in the 'verse for its price tag of 2.2 million aUEC. Let's do a quick current comparison on its closest competitor, the Argo RAFT. The RAFT costs 1.8 million aUEC and besides fancier crew amenities (how often do you use the table?) that is its only benefit. The MAX flies, handles and boosts better. It has better weapons. It can carry more cargo (RAFT= 96 SCU) and can carry vehicles. The MAX is an "elevator-free" ship, allowing quick and easy access. You want the best all-around ship in the 'verse? Go for the MAX!
