While this was created for Pride within the Star Citizen community, it is for everyone.
The spectrum of the sunrise. Light shattered to fragments by the atmosphere, or the razor edge of a broken mirror at the right angle.
In this mirror we see the reflection of our past behind us. The struggle which we memorialize and revere.
We focus on the future through the lens of history, and raise our colors in a visual symphony.
Red, not blood of those lost, but of bricks not thrown but laid. a foundation of solidarity and a future bright.
Yellow, the morning sun that cuts away the night. Not the cowardice of those who seek to undermine our duty to protect our future. our desire.
Orange, the flash of fire in our eyes. fierce with pride Determination to thrive despite the torches and pitchforks of those who hunt us.
Green, not with envy, nor of bruises healing, but life. renewal. Laughing on the grass with friends and chosen family and trees under which we take shelter and draw our sustenance.
Blue, the skies into which we climb together. the hottest fire to warm our desire. A passion to survive and a calming respite.
Purple, For our royalty. Queens that read and dance and sing. Prince and his rain. King and his Dream
Black, The expanse we explore. Not dark with fear but with possibility which we can only illuminate by braving the unknown.
White, the light, not absense of darkness, but contrast for it to be shown. The only supremacy is unity and acceptance and growth.
Brown, earth. where we take root. our Origin. we cannot jump without a solid footing. The shit we take only fertilizes our drive to progress
Pink, the love we share, not the scars we bare. Renewal and joy as we go on and grow.
so let us join together in this race. A call to arms in defense of our unity. A display of grace to those who are still learning.
We pull those who struggle to their feet, and salvage the hope of those who have fallen along the way.
We fight as one.
