SAVE STANTON EVENT

Phase 1

“The Stanton system is under siege and your help is needed to defend ships being attacked and retrieve cargo from destroyed ships. Those who successfully assist in six missions (and continue to assist in future missions) will be denoted as eligible to earn a special reward”

Save Stanton: Assist Attacked Haulers

Type: Space mission.

Hold off attacking ships from an intact NPC ship

Save Stanton: Support Cargo Recovery

Type: Space mission/EVA

Destroy waves of NPC Ships, and then board and take cargo from the marked ship and deliver to the location it gives you. (recommended to take a large cargo ship as doing it one trip helps, as you lose the marker) Kill waves of fighters, board and take cargo. cargo ship and fighters needed.

Phase 2

“A new criminal organization calling themselves "the Slicers" has been identified as being responsible for the recent attacks on Stanton. Help stop the gang from wrecking more havoc by eliminating identified gang members and sabotaging their operations. If all previous requirements have been met, those who successfully assist in six missions will be denoted as eligible to earn a special reward.”

Save Stanton: Eliminate Slicers Operative

Type: Space mission/FPS

Locate and neutralise <Npc name here> Search for bounty's current location. Track targets in unmonitored areas by scanning or reactivating comm arrays.

Travel to location, destroy 1-3 ships overhead and eliminate the boss on the ground.

Current bug: target does not spawn if location is a settlement STARC-136527 (but does work if location is a derelict outpost)

Save Stanton Phase 2: Sabotage Gang Operation

Type: FPS

Takes place at a hostile bunker. Similar to an eliminate drugs mission but there are instead red crates of... some unknown item. They explode when you shot.

Phase 3

“The Slicers outlaw gang has taken over several distribution centers and we need your help to reclaim them. Help clear three distribution centers, and meet requirements from the previous phases, to be eligible to receive a special reward.”

Save Stanton: Reclaim Distribution Center

Type: Space mission/FPS

Ground - Get into the DC and access terminals to hack them. Kill all hostiles Air - Destroy NPC ships around the DC including the "Data Runners" (if enough of them escape the mission fails), and the second group on the ground restoring the terminals and then clearing out any remaining hostiles

*The upcoming Save Stanton event that you have been testing on PTU has had a change. Phase 3 otherwise known as "Reclaim Distribution Center". CIG have removed from the lineup due to performance issues.

Phase 4

“We need your help saving the system from the Slicers. The gang has deployed an Idris and a fleet of support ships to terrorize the people of Stanton. Help repel the Idris and its support ships three times, and meet requirements from the previous phases, to be eligible to receive a special reward.”

Save Stanton: Slicers Idris Incursion

Type: Space mission

Idris and enemy fighters spawn near to a station.

Phase 5

“Owing to the recent attacks by the Slicers outlaw gang, resources are in short supply and urgently needed by two organizations looking to make a difference in Pyro. Successfully complete six supply hauls, and meet requirements from the previous phases, to receive a special reward.”

Disclaimers and Theories

1: It appears that for those phases that have 2 missions, you can do any combination of them to reach the required 6 to advance to the next phase

2: For the phase 3 DC mission, I think everyone gets offered this phase at the same time, but it's possible there are 2 of this mission active at the same time (one on microTech and one on Hurston), and which one you get depends which planet you're close to? *Please note phase 3 has been removed due to performance issues

3: This document is entirely “work in progress” and may be very different when it hits live servers
