It started like any other Friday, just a casual after work drink with friends at Wally's in New Babbage. A few rounds later, we found ourselves at Voyager Bar you know the place, the one in the city in the clouds? Yeah, Orison! After what we’ll call altitude sickness (and definitely not from all the drinks), we decided to head somewhere lower. Our next stop? The G-Loc Bar on Area 18. There, we met some friendly Pico pilots who shared drinks, swapped stories, and let us in on a little secret.. The best bars are in Pyro. Naturally, we took their advice and ended up at Checkmate, where the drinks were top tier, though I wouldn’t recommend the food. After a while, just as we were settling in, we got a distress beacon from our new Pico pilot friends. And, of course, we did what any good friends would do! After just a few more drinks, we geared up and rushed to a random asteroid base where they had messaged us from. The moment we arrived, we had to fight our way inside.. Only to find a hidden asteroid bar, our Pico friends in distress, and an entire crew of their fellow Picos and Finleys. We got to our friend just in time and we totally did not fight over who got to heal our new friend... but let’s just say, it was a night to remember.
