This is an update to the v1.0 I shared earlier this month. I have found a bunch more ships, all of which now have their pages on the starcitizen.tools wiki. I believe it to be complete for now (or at least, I have found everything that can be found by search functions).
I made the decision not to 'correct' prefixes: there's a few times you see UEEN or UEE rather than UEES, and one time when you find UEES before the UEE exists. Until I hear otherwise, I am leaving those in. I'm also leaving in all ships even if they were later edited out; I think it's interesting to record those things, as even if the UEES Indomitable no longer 'exists' at one time this showed the mindset the team had for good names for Bengal carriers.
I have been trying to get some clarification on that and other little matters in this thread, which I will keep linking to in the hopes of drawing attention to: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/50259/thread/ueen-list-of-ships-question
I'll do a major numbered update if we ever get another ship class to add, and maybe a minor numbered update if a big load of names get added. If they are adding a few in drips and drabs then I will probably do an update around Citizencon time.
I've had some conversations about the names like 'Mama Bird' that appeared in the video last night. I consider those to be nicknames and callsigns: two separate naming practices that are well-established in lore. Multicrew vessels that are beneath the threshold to be officially named like the Carrack and Hercules are said to sometimes be 'nicknamed' by their crew; in fact Mama Bird was in the Hercules brochure previously. Names like Shepherd-07 and Shepherd-08 seem to match previous conventions for mission-specific callsigns, as with Good Queen Twelve, the mission callsign for Carrack S-1132 before it disappeared. And finally, fighter callsigns like Nefertiti seem to be similar to modern radio callsigns, and belong to the pilot; these are also mentioned in lore.
Those names are interesting, but they aren't going on this poster because they don't represent official names, and won't have any patterns to look at.
If you have any questions, corrections, suggestions, amendments, additions or comments, just let me know.
The images of ships in the middle are modifications of u/YT-0 's excellent renders. See the full details here:https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/yt-s-ship-scale-comparison-chart-eclipse-edition-o
