Nexus II is the second planet from the sun of the Nexus system, United Empire of Earth (UEE). A world with a dense, nitrogen-rich atmosphere, it was used by the then-United Nations of Earth (UNE) as a testing ground to develop new terraforming technology to use on smog planets. The UNE's failure to achieve this goal is partially what led to its decision to sell exclusive mining rights to the Hathor Group.
