The Bacchus system is a planetary system in the Banu Protectorate that consists of a super-Earth, a terrestrial planet, a gas giant, and a binary star system made up of a type G and a type K main sequence star. Believed to be the home system of the Banu people, it is the traditional location of the Gathering, an irregularly-held convocation of Banu leadership that convenes to make decisions that will affect all Banu people. Myriad well-trafficked trade lanes cross the system, linking Bacchus II and the Nuso flotilla to the United Empire of Earth(UEE) via the Garron-Bacchus jump point.
