If you are here, you are curious about joining the Aurea Oculos group.

We intend to run within Star Citizen as a loose piracy and/or mercenary group. We want to hunt the biggest fish we can find for the thrill of it.

Unlike many other organizations, we will not have significant politics or structure to deal with. You will find that we encourage mature and small squad based piracy and combat for the betterment of ourselves.

Alliance within Redd Faction is to help provide an overall larger organization and framework for us to utilize. We expect minimal involvement in their larger issues, but to contribute goods for their tradesmen and such similar mutual benefits as well as come to their aid when needed. As a network based wandering group, we will be able to provide rapid full force aid to our friends without the logistical burdens of other organizations such as ‘approval’. Simultaneously, you won’t be forced to act. We plan to insulate members of Aurea Oculos from any unnecessary drama (by limiting responsibility) and we will make sure to avoid any nonsense.

Practically, we will operate in loose networks of squads, formed transiently as players log on, with other trusted members. As an Aurea Oculos member, you have few obligations. We encourage usage of this network to form trustworthy and lasting relationships with other pilots, and manage that through intervention if necessary. By participation, we expect excellence and honor towards one another. Seek your own goals.

To that end, we aspire that our name will remain quietly whispered by only those who have hired successfully, and never discovered by the many others we have met in combat. Any bases we maintain will be either small scale safe houses or transient and mobile. We do not seek to control or monitor space, as that limits us.

Structurally, ZippityD is a leader by name only. The network operates as its members see fit and as of now has no requirements for individual activity. You have a voice in our organization. Any interested members can voice their opinions. Within our structure, it will likely be necessary for ZippityD or other active members to serve as external liaisons as well whether it be to Redd Faction or to third party organizations.

The goal is to have an awesome time during squad based combat as active and dangerous players. We want to profit and enjoy ourselves while doing so! We want quick, responsive, skilled piracy raids! We want contract execution of big game targets! We want successful heists, raids, and narrow escapes! We want traps for bounty hunters and eternal evasion of large clunky organizations! We’ll have loyal crew able to do wandering hit and runs on big groups as well as drive-by piracy for profit. You’ll see roaming gangs, scouting of profitable trade runs, and sharing of good hunting knowledge or threats. We hope to see you soon.
