Origins of the Azure Flame

The Azure Flame Brigade was born from tragedy—a scattered group of survivors who witnessed firsthand the horrors unleashed by reckless quantum travel. They saw the stars ignite with unnatural blue fire, a phenomenon they would come to call the Azure Flame. What others saw as destruction, they saw as revelation. Over time, reverence for the quantum drive’s power fused with fear, and the Brigade took shape: part order, part cult, part crusade.

Fanaticism grew, and so did their reach. They began seizing quantum drives from the careless, turning those very engines of chaos into tools of judgment. Ruthless to the arrogant, merciful to the wise—the Brigade walks a narrow path, sworn to protect humanity from its own ambition. Their creed is simple: Honor the Brigade. And to do so is to embrace the flame, walk the void, and become both shield and sword.
