History

The Azure Flame Brigade began as a group of survivors who witnessed the horrifying effects of unchecked quantum travel and the deadly power of the drives. The “blue flames” of destruction became a symbol to them—both a warning and a sacred emblem. Over time, the Brigade’s belief in the dangers of quantum technology transformed into fanaticism. They started to view quantum drives as both relics of unimaginable power and objects to be revered and feared. Their actions became more extreme, leading them to attack those they deemed reckless in their use of quantum tech seizing their drives, and whatever else on board, and treating them as sacred.

Though their methods grew ruthless, their mission has never wavered: to safeguard humanity from the hidden dangers of advancing technology and anything quantum. The Brigade’s strict code, summed up in their motto, “Honor the brigade”, means honoring those who protect humanity from its own technological ambition. This honor drives their dual nature—on one hand, they rescue those in need and offer guidance to those who respect the peril of space. On the other, they can be merciless towards those who ignore the risks, seeing themselves as the final arbiters of who deserves to wield quantum technology.

Treading the line between good and bad, the Brigade is both feared and respected across the galaxy. They help the helpless, but they strike down those who violate what they see as the natural order, all in the name of preserving life and honoring the Brigade’s sacred mission.

The Brigade of the Azure Flame is a mix of bounty hunting, vigilante operations, and cargo protection, with occasional piracy when it aligns with our beliefs. We safeguard the galaxy from those who abuse quantum and tech, offering aid when needed and ruthlessly confronting threats. Let’s share the word!

We’re a casual, fun org focused on RP and creative shenanigans around our lore. We aren’t strict or commanding—we want to build stories together! Our ultimate goal? To become an in-universe religion, guiding the stars under the blue flame.
