History

The Art of Warfare (TAW) was formed in March of 2001 by members who played Delta Force: Land Warrior together. From these humble beginnings TAW has grown into an organization unlike any other.

The commitment that our members and leaders make to their units and to the community at large is truly remarkable. Many of our members join TAW and stay for years, finally finding a place they can call home. Throughout the ups and down of a game’s life cycle, TAW continues to be strong month after month, year after year. Because of our multi-game support, any part of TAW is open to members, providing a fun, team-based experience no matter if you play only one game or enjoy a variety of games.

Made up of gamers from around the world who have come together with the common vision of honor, integrity, and fair play, TAW continues to adapt itself to the ever-changing landscape of gaming. With a solid foundation in its Code of Ethics, TAW has weathered the storms that have seen so many others fall.

Our Philosophy

TAW is a place to have fun, enjoy great games, and build friendships that last well beyond the screen.
We’re a community of players who value teamwork, respect, and the simple goal of enjoying gaming together. Some of us join for the gameplay, but many stay because of the people. It’s not unusual for squadmates to become long-term friends, and in many cases, lifelong ones.

You don’t need to be the best pilot, shooter, or strategist to belong here. What matters is showing up with the right attitude, being part of the team, and enjoying the journey together. We’re here for the long haul and always looking for good people to join us.
