What is the current role of the Lore Team as it relates to Star Citizens/SQ42’s development? Are they spending time creating missions, writing stories or developing script and story lines for SQ42 and it’s sequels?

In regards to artificial gravity :
"We will probably be moving away from gravitons. Though the name sounds cool, using an actual hypothetical elementary particle is looking like it brings a lot of preconceived science baggage with it. We will probably take the suggestion of creating an entirely new element for the generator to create."
Did you ever decide on a name , and its associated lore? if so? what is it? (My suggestion is acidromalies)

The game is balanced for players for it currently to take a few minutes to go from planet to planet via QT drive.
How long in lore, does it take Pilots to fly across a Star system, on average? Like say Stanton to Microtech takes a few minutes with current balance, but the average person in lore, does it take hours, days?

In regards to artificial gravity :
"Something we saw mentioned a lot was the idea of using two plates to contain the field. This is actually something that, after talking to design, we will probably shy away from. The main reason for this is we want to be able to use the AG in open spaces if we so choose, and again, by having only one plate needed, this tech could possibly be repurposed for tractor beams. Instead we will continue with the notion that AG is interrupted by ship hulls. Though, even if the hull wasn’t interrupting, the gravplates would still have a limited range before the field would decay."
Did you ever decide on a max distance that the "open field" would reach , and if it started to disspate or it's a hard stop? (is this evidenced by the way the nomad's "bed" and landing gear work, along with Orison's gravity?)

Since Banu style slaving / indentured servitude is part of Banu culture and the Banu are allies with the UEE, does that mean that the Slaver Souli is allowed to transport product through UEE space to North Banu space (Trise system) or along the Southern UEE regions bordering Banu space?

Did you decide if tractor beam tech was a result of the research into LAG?

In regards to Artificial Gravity :
"It was also mentioned how the delay in the LAG system (combined with the unidirectional emission) would help explain why AG is impractical to use as a counter to the effects of increased Gs during flight.
Is a modification or advancement of the technology the reason we can sustain slightly higher g forces than a normal human in the 21st century, or is it more advanced suits, or another lore reason entirely?

early backers were given a Hadesian artifact many years ago with a hint at a mystery to be solved around said item, is this still planned for the community to solve? will there be more mysteries that require the entire communities involvement to solve?

Skyrim comes to mind when I think of fun story telling and world building, will we stumble across unusual situations in the verse (a single human skeleton, with a pencil beside them, a dog collar and 12 vanduul skeletons around it) fun 'stories' that aren't fully explained but our imaginations can fill in the gaps?

There are a number of theme areas we see popping up in lore. For example Japanese influence on Saisei, Roman themes on the major races (Xi'an, Vandul/Vandal) and modern western themes on the UEE government.
Q: Is there a consistent storyline/ overarching theme the team is working towards for the game lore or is the approach a lot more granular and on an event to event or case to case basis?
Love the Galactapedia updates btw!

Are ship hulls lined with a special material to "stop" the gravplates from emitting particles through them? if this is the case , will gravity start to "leak out" of ships eventually when hulls are damaged and / or punctured?

In a recent update on the Banu Merchantman we heard of bathroom facilities being tailored to the various races, and previously the Railen has been mentioned as having a scratch wall and a basin of sorts not for washing hands in. But we have yet to hear much about how facilities might impact the Tevarin. Are they not anatomically close enough to humans that they can share facilities with only the most minor concessions for their biology?
