Star Citizen has a very serious player toxicity problem, born out of the necessary features provided by the game-client itself; text and voice chat. Without going into why the problem exists in the first place or why its grown at an alarming rate, it has become more frequent to either see complaints about, or directly encounter, wholly unacceptable text and voice chat behavior in-game. I'm not talking about simple inappropriate or obscure banter where such behavior is questionable and somewhat open to interpretation, but pure open harassment of a level that would result in real-world regulatory consequences in most civilized societies were such behavior to occur in-person. The problem is very real, and may become a major factor in driving players away from the game altogether, aka Churn. Will CIG consider using automated real-time text and voice chat moderation tools, to help tamp-down the problem we've been encountering, lately? CIG has already turned to best-in-class third-party tools to prevent cheating, so why not look to similar solutions for text and voice chat moderation? Here's an example of an existing third-party commercial solution: https://www.modulate.ai/toxmod/gaming What can we expect to be the plan to deal with this truly toxic activity, going forward? Thanks!
