So im using vjoy, joystick gremlin, hid/hide, so that can be part of the answer, I have dual vkb gladiator nxt evo (left is an omnithrottle) and pedals but I'm thinking of going to mouse, left stick, and pedals (it's what I do in fps anyway, i have a vertical mouse for ergo reasons/wrist-problems which i only use for aiming and i use my left stick trigger pull to shoot fps guns so my vertical mouse clicks don't throw off my aim) because in ships/vehicles i use my right stick for pitch and yaw (and a mouse can handle 2 axis just fine with better aiming precision than a stick), i use my left stick for y-axis: strafe up/down, x-axis: strafe left/right, and twist: roll, my pedals I use for right foot down gas (forward) and left foot down brake (reverse), i adopted these stick axis and pedals set up after watching avenger one's pre Mm videos and it's hella intuitive/natural. That's most of the context now getting into the question details, I'm wanting to put power & mode control on my left stick thumb resting position 4 way hat (my pinky left pinky is a mod button so a 4 way hat, not counting center press, with mod gives 8 options). Basically I want to create and "single press" select between 6 "flight profiles" (for lack of a better term) that would normally involve an ordered sequence of commands. And I'm tailoring it to my guardian, including component choices, so that I won't need or significantly benefit from making small adjustments (other than QED combat) The component load out is Galdereens repeaters (0-3 energy bricks) Haltur Shields (0 or 3 energy bricks, provides max protection) 2 lumacore power plants (max energy bricks, so max bricks to guns and shields, and very close to max for thrusters) Nightfall cooler (1 or 2 bricks) or Aufeis (2 or 3 bricks only 2 needed) as a place holder Spicule quantum drive (0 or 5 energy bricks) or Hemera (0 or 6 energy bricks) as a place holder So these are the 6 flight profiles with the sequence of "command" I want to correspond to the button press: 1) Stealth: scm operator mode (so obviously quantum drive shut off), guns shut off, shields shut off, one power plant on/one power plant shut off, life support gets 1 energy brick, 1 energy brick to nightfall cooler (or 2 energy bricks to Aufeis) and 6 (or 5 if Aufeis respectively) energy bricks to thrusters 2) Travel Nav: both power plants on, nav operator mode (so spicule would get 5 bricks, or Hemera would get 6 energy bricks, and obviously the shield and qed are shut off), guns shut off, cooler gets 2 energy bricks, life support gets 1 energy bricks, and thrusters get 9 (for spicule quantum drive, or 8 for Hemera quantum drive) energy bricks 3) Combat-Nav flight: both power plants on, nav operator mode (so spicule would get 5 bricks, or Hemera would get 6 energy bricks, and obviously the shield and qed are shut of), shut off life support (wearing a helmet and undersuit or flight suit), guns get the 1 energy brick from life support (so i have guns ready if i need to turn and fight), cooler gets 2 energy bricks, and thrusters get 9 (for spicule quantum drive, or 8 for Hemera quantum drive) energy bricks 4) Combat-nav fight: both power plants on, nav operator mode (so spicule would get 5 bricks, or Hemera would get 6 energy bricks, and obviously the shield and qed are shut of), shut off life support (wearing a helmet and undersuit or flight suit), guns get 3 energy brick, cooler gets 2 energy bricks, and thrusters get 7 (for spicule quantum drive, or 6 for Hemera quantum drive) energy bricks 5) Base Combat: both power plants on, scm operator mode (so obviously quantum drive is shut off), qed shut off, guns get 3 energy bricks, shield get 3 energy bricks, life support shut off, cooler gets 2 energy bricks, thrusters get 9 energy bricks 6) QED combat: both power plants on, scm operator mode (so obviously quantum drive is shut off), qed gets 3 energy bricks (but qed active or not is a separate button), guns get 2 energy bricks to guns, shield gets 3 energy bricks, life support shut off, cooler gets 2 energy bricks, thrusters get 7 energy bricks So how do I set up the controls to do this?
