Additional Atlas Variants
Was having a conversation with an org mate and got an idea from a misunderstanding on my part. Anyway, I wasn't doing anything so I typed up something quick.
Atlas Variants:
Hermes.
A Racing version of the Spartan variant. The Crew compartment area is taken up by a oversized power plant and enlarged fuel tank to facilitate faster top speed and longer range. The rear door opens to reveal spare parts and or tool storage and the exterior of the Spartan has racks holding spare parts and tires.
Pluto.
A mining version of the Spartan variant. The crew compartment has one side taken up by a storage compartment while the other side houses a bed and other commodities such has food and fluid vending machines as well as a pop out toilet. The driver seat controls the remote weapons turret as well as a remote mining arm mounted over the habitation area. Intended use is for “long haul” gemstone mining.
Hephaestus.
An XL Mining Version of the Spartan. 2x the length and width of the Spartan. Habitation area has same amenities as the Pluto with the exception of a shoilet and more expansive food prep or dispensing station. The larger size is meant to accommodate the same filtration system that the Prospector has. Intended use is for ground based big rock(prospector sized rocks) mining for long haul solo mining or to be used in conjunction with a crew and or Arrastra
Material compressor ejects ‘X’ size scu boxes for certain “easily separated and refined” materials out the rear externally. Limited external cargo grid storage(32 scu for an arbitrary example) on the roof.
Externally mounted Mining bags for those materials that need to be refined or for additional mixed load storage that will be need separated and refined later. Alternatively, the mining bags could be the output for inert materials and would need to be replaced once full. External cargo grids could be used to house additional bags.
Will add a hopiumshop later when I have time to do so.

We know there is an base builder semi version coming.
What is needed is:
Cargo flatbed truck and semi.
MASH or medical version.
Fire truck.
Radar truck.

Lots of great ideas!
Would love some cargo truck versions and perhaps one with gunracks and a turret gunner.
Camper van variant sort of like a ground based version of the drake rambler with ammenities and cargo space.
