Wing Commander II: Speech Accessory Pack (1991)

Origin also released a Wing Commander II Speech Accessory Pack, which upgraded Wing Commander II with pre-recorded voice acting. In this case the subtitles were hiding. It adds digitized speech to all space combat communications and to a few cinematic sequences.

Trivia:

The Speech Packs (Origin still had Speech Packs for Strike Commander, Wing Commander: Privateer, Ultima VIII and Pacific Strike) had a big impact on sound card sales. These were still considered a luxury item in 1991, and most gamers were content with the beeps coming out of their PC box.
