The Tohil belt alpha is an asteroid belt in the Tohil system, United Empire of Earth (UEE). Dense with asteroids, travel conditions through it are dangerous enough that major mining companies in the UEE have declined to begin operations there. Smugglers and other outlaws who are especially skilled at piloting and navigation have been known to hide in the belt, but most choose not to risk their ships and lives and give it a wide berth.
