Founded in 2910 by pirate-turned-citizen Jean Tucker. After ten years on quarterdeck Tucker emerged apparently rehabilitated and a journeyman to the “Church of the Journey”.
A short time after her release from quarterdeck Jean Tucker came up with some money that we can only assume came from a stash from her pirate days. After purchasing a well used Freelancer MAX, Jean donated the remainder to charities and went into business hauling cargo from system to system. Many surmise that the charity donation were only a way to prevent anyone from looking too close at how she had come up with the money to buy a ship after emerging from Quarterdeck penniless. Farpoint executives insist that Jean emerged from prison a truly reformed and generous person, and made the donations to atone for her prior deeds.
Tucker traveled the stars, choosing loads that took her to new destinations rather than choosing the most profitable jobs. Nevertheless her extensive travels resulted in a profitable business. Jean continued to make modest charity donations periodically, but she also purchased travel worn cargo ships and hired crew to pilot them, incorporating as “Farpoint Logistics”. Despite the apparent success of her company Jean Tucker never upgraded her humble ship or equipment. Even her clothing was well worn and plain.
In May of 2920, at the age of 45 Jean Tucker disappeared while transporting a high value load on the fringes of UEE space. Despite the disappearance of a freighter in dangerous space was nothing unusual rumors spread of Tucker having disappeared to retire to a life of luxury funded by stashes of money from her pirate days and money taken under the table for smuggling illegal goods disguised by legitimate cargo. Several months later a solo explorer discovered the wreckage of her old Freelancer Max, with heavy battle damage, signs of forced entry, and an empty cargo hold. Tucker’s body was never found.
The company continued to operate under the board of directors and became even more profitable. Annual donations are still made to charities in the founder’s honor, always on Traveler’s day.

Farpoint Logistics is a highly themed* full roleplay organization. Our aim is to provide one of the deepest, most immersive experiences in the Star Citizen universe.
We looked at the Star Citizen community and found that the only serious roleplay organizations seemed to be focused largely on combat operations. Org’s not combat themed still seemed* to internally have a heavy combat focus.
Our goal is to interact with other RP organizations through arms-length contract transactions, providing a more realistic experience for all. This said we will enjoy a wide variety of gameplay internally.
In our joint operations via TIR we intend to stay true to our theme and maintain the outward appearance of truly being a cargo and logistics company!
