Since the dawn of time Humanity has always looked to the stars. What is out there? What will we find? Is there anything like us? These questions lingered within us for centuries until we finally had the chance of answering them. Originating from ancient Earth Humanity ventured out into the great unknown in search for answers to ancient questions. Planets where colonised and discoveries made. Humanity united and we became an interplanetary species. But discovery leads to dangers and so humanity encountered a hostile species in 2541. With the first Tevarin-war, came a great arming campaign to the world of mankind. One of the many battle-groups created was the British armada Glory of Britannia, an armada famous for it’s deeds in the war and for their quite special slogan. On every single one of their ships they would spray the phrase “The British Are Coming”. A phrase that spread hope at the time of the war as the fleet marshals of the Glory of Britannia where effective and successful commanders.
Because of their achievements the royal family of the old United Kingdom awarded every officer of the Glory of Britannia with a symbol of loyalty: a coin formed in the shape of the Union Jack combined with the coat of arms of the armada. The crew members of the armada wore these coins with pride and they where given to each new generation of officers.
But in the last days of the war with the Tevarin tragedy struck. The current Fleet Marshal of the armada Jacob Alexander engaged a strong Tevarin fleet near a jump point in the Idris system even though strategists advised against it. The fleet was nearly annihilated by the Tevarin enemy and in an last attempt to turn the tide of battle Alexander crashed his flagship Londinium into the enemies flagship and engaged a course into the jump point. There was no escape. On this day the Londinium vanished with all 600 crew members into nothingness. Without their leader the Tevarin could be overwhelmed by reinforcements but there was no trace of the rest of the Glory of Britannia. Believed to be killed in action, a memorial was raised and the names of every soldier from the armada was engraved into this statue. The soldiers of the Glory of Britannia became legends and their stories where told over generations.
Now, 400 years later, a signal appeared. During a Vanduul raid the imperial defence force picked up a strong signal originating from the edge of the system that they where stationed in.
A single phrase was transmitted…..
A phrase that had not been heard in centuries….
“The British Are Coming”….
The long-lost armada swiftly defeated the Vanduul raid fleet. Leading the armada where the two Fleet Marshals code-named “FoolishBi-PolarBear” and “Puffer” both descendants of old officers from the Glory of Britannia.
After returning to human space the armada transformed and became the TBAC making their slogan their name. Nowadays most assets of TBAC are concentrated in the Stanton system as they consider it a system worthy of expansion into.
Even though TBAC is not a military armada anymore their war cry still echoes through space and brings hope to distant worlds for as The British Are Coming.
Forged in war. Founded for Peace
Glory to Britannia. Glory to TBAC
Who we are:
TBAC is an originally British armada which was transformed to an organization amidst chaos. Over time TBAC has grown to encompass 18 different nationalities from all over Europe and some beyond.
Being friendly and supporting towards each other are the key aspects that define our organization. You’ve got a problem? We are happy to help you out.
We offer everything from normal and peaceful gameplay over specialised sectors (military, industry and civilian) to action packed gun- and dogfights.
While freedom of choice is one of the foundations of TBAC we expect you to follow orders if they are given from higher officers. We may be no armada any longer but we inherited the military traditions from our ancestors.
We have vowed ourselves to the protection and support of every citizen of the ‘verse. To repay our debts to the glorious 600 who where lost.
Together we will build a brighter future for everyone. Through military might, industrial power and civilian support we guarantee peace and prosperity amongst the stars. Everyone is welcome to join our ranks as long as you follow the rules.
With united might we have endured and united we shall prevail.
TBAC is being led by our org marshal who has ultimate authority over everything. Fleet Marshals, Generals and Brigadier Generals report directly to him. After the them come the colonels, captains, lieutenants, second lieutenants and privates followed by honour guests, VIP’s and affiliates.
While we follow this structure, we aim to work with each other on every level.
When you support other members or the org directly you may be promoted to the next rank. Demotion does not always mean that you’ve done bad things. Members in the org move up and down very often.
We appreciate help and support but remember that your real life comes first.
This was brought to you by the TBAC Fleet Command. Glory to Britannia. Glory to TBAC.
Every coin is casted out of the remains of the Londinium.
A reminder of our sacrifices and a symbol of strength
Everything has to sides and so does the coin of TBAC. First given to the members of the Glory of Britannia his royal majesty it is a symbol of deeds and loyalty to the royal family. After the fall of the Londinium and the re-emerging of the armada as TBAC every member carried a coin and every new member gets his own coin, casted and forged out of the remains of the Londinium.
The 60 of the 64 dots with which the back of the coin is marked are representing the 600 fallen that we lost during Fleet Marshal Alexander’s last stand. The hands represent unity. The unity of a brotherhood that survived through fire and flames. A brotherhood that, even when facing demise, served loyal and without fear.
But we not only shall remember the fallen but also the date 2541. The year when we lost our comrades and friends. This is encompassed by the 2 sides, 5 hands, 4 remaining dots and our strong unity.
Remember the date. Remember the fallen.
But this coin is more than a reminder of our past. It stands for our present and future too. A endless circle of never ending unity that connects and binds us all.
The rank at the top reminds its carrier of his own commitment to TBAC and the recognition, respect and trust that has been bestowed upon him be it Fleet Marshal, General or Private. We are protectors of the circle as we stand above it. We have vowed our lives to the protection of this eternal circle.
The wings represent our rules, values and deeds which are defended by the shield while the man in the middle represents the carrier. The individual is the centre. This is the very foundation this unity was founded upon.
The circle is us. We are TBAC. Every single one of us. We are unity. We are a belief. We are a way of life. We are a family.
Never forget the fallen. Never forget anyone from then to now.
*Glory to Britannia.
Glory to TBAC.*
