Twofish Mining and Salvage was established in 2554 when the negotiations for the sale of Fulcrum Mining Associates to Shubin Interstellar began. Del Twofish acquired a small fleet during the liquidation of assets by Fulcrum, Mr. Twofish left the core systems of the UEE traveling to the Stanton system to set up operations as a solo venture. Initially unable to fully fund mining operations, Mr. Twofish scouted the system and learned the trade while working odd jobs for ArcCorp, Shubin and the Hathor group. Seeing first hand the disastrous results wrought by the Hathor groups techniques, Mr. Twofish committed to create a company using sustainable methods that had the least impact on the ecosystems chosen for mining and salvage operations. Del Twofish passed away before fully realizing his dream and he bequeathed the small fleet and sufficient funds for beginning mining and salvage operations to his son, Ren. Ren Twofish, nicknamed Onefish (from a favorite story from childhood) now holds the CEO position and is actively expanding operations in the Stanton system and vicinity.
