History

Patrick Logan, the CEO of Axiom Armaments, was born into poverty on a small planet just outside of UEE Territory. Though not considered a member of the UEE, the planet lived in relative security, knowing UEE soldiers were a short jump away.
This fantasy of safety was shattered when Patrick was 12. The Khans, a group of savage raiders raped, killed, and destroyed everything he knew, including his family. The survivors of this vicious attack called in for UEE support, hoping they could salvage what was left of their way of life.

The UEE support never came.

Patrick and a small band of Refugees were able to escape their home world with their lives. Landing on a nearby UEE planet with nothing but the clothes on his back, Patrick pleaded with the Government there, begging for their help to destroy The Khans for destroying his way of life. Being harshly turned away, he scoured the markets and bars, begging anyone who would listen for help -but no one would listen.

Resurgence

In the coming years, Patrick realized that he couldn’t rely on the Military for help. He vowed to do everything in his power to prevent anyone else from suffering the same fate.

He began working on his own, taking odd jobs for whatever money his employers scraped together. However, the fruits of his labor were not in vain, he was able to purchase his first ship. Rather than transporting the metals and materials his people were killed for, he chose to trade in weapons, hoping to outfit small communities with powerful defenses in an effort to fight off space pirates everywhere. This proved profitable, and he was soon able to hire on a small fleet of like-minded traders to build on his work, Axiom Armaments was born. His new-found success did not come without attention. Bandits and pirates knew of the expensive and powerful weapons he carried, and he began suffering frequent attacks. Patrick quickly trained some of his workers in the use of his weaponry, and deployed them as guards, securing the trading routes his convoys would frequent.

Soon, the name Patrick Logan would strike fear into the hearts of Pirates throughout the Galaxy. His workers, as deadly as his weapons, became known as mercenaries as well as merchants, and the name “Axiom Armaments” became synonymous with power incarnate. Merchants throughout the Galaxy began hiring Mr. Logan’s workers to serve as guards, and his second venture – providing polite and powerful mercenaries to any who can afford his high price.

Sadly, over the years, Patrick’s dream of protecting the innocent fell to the wayside to the interests of Corporate profits. His dream polluted – he now watches on as his powerful weapons and soldiers, intended to protect innocent people, are being sold to the very people pillaging them.

Though his morals have degraded, and he is forced to sell his services to the highest bidder, it’s said that he still funds the search for the infamous Khans – seeking the chance to finally exact revenge on the men who caused him so much pain.

Whether it’s getting from point A to point B with your cargo intact, defending a factory from dangerous protesters, securing unknown worlds or sectors, you can rest assured that Axiom Security will be there for you.

We are Axiom Armaments – And we pride ourselves on being the best. If you need to put the hurt on someone, whether by your own hand or by one of our capable mercenaries, we are here for you!

Greetings, prospective Mercenaries and Merchants! I, CEO and Founder Patrick Logan, thank you for your interest in our organization!

The requirements for membership are not extremely high, and we are not an overly demanding Organization. If you are looking to have fun and role play, without feeling burdened by constantly having to devote time and energy into the group, this is the Corporation for you!

You will get out of the Org what you put into it. You can run a few supply runs and make a little cash and be done, or become a Consultant and spend hours finding contracts for clients, and reap big rewards. Play as much or as little as you like, and most importantly – have fun!

Thank you for joining us, and I, Patrick Logan, CEO, welcome you to the Axiom family!

Becoming an Associate of Axiom is a simple process, and I’m happy to guide you through your first steps. As an independent Axiom contractor, you are given very loose guidelines as to what you can and cannot do, and free contractors are generally permitted to pursue work as they see fit.

Please follow the following basic guidelines.

Violating one or more of these Tenets may result in immediate termination, and permanent blacklisting! Rest assured – Violate these rules, and you’ll never work in the Security industry again!

Never assault another Axiom Mercenary while on the job.
Never steal from an Axiom client that you have been contracted to work for.
Never abandon an Axiom client that you have been contracted to work for.
Never shoot at escape pods without very good reason – we are Mercs, not murderers. Capturing escape pods is fine.
Deal with customers politely and with professionalism.

These tenets are simple and easy to follow. Outside of contractual work, you are free to pursue any line of work you so choose, as long as you do not fly the Axiom flag while doing it.

You are free to extend offers to clients on your own, without consent from the Officers, but be sure to set the terms of a contract before making an agreement. Here are some basic guidelines to help you negotiate terms before agreeing to a contract:

Decide on the payment. Generally, Axiom agents accept half of the reward on accepting the contract, and the rest on completion.
Question the client on duration of the assignment. Be sure you are capable of fufulling the time constraints put forth by a client.
Discuss what you will be doing. Find out how much resistance you are likely to face.
If additional Mercenaries are desired or required, consider recommending other Axiom workers to the client.

Once completing a contract, and taking your previously agreed on payment, Be sure to recommend Axiom Armaments to the client for any further mercenary work. In addition, if you worked with any non-affiliated Mercenaries, be sure to direct them to the Corporation for recruitment.

Lastly, though you are not obligated, please write a short report of your interaction with the client, containing your ID, their ID, and a short summary of your interaction with them, whether positive or negative.

If you believe you were cheated by a client, do not take action directly.

If you believe your client did not pay you properly – whether they shorted you a payment, or did not accurately describe what the job would entail – contact an officer in the organization immediately for dispute mediation. If the Dispute Mediator rules in favor of your case, contact will be made with the client to reach a settlement. Rest assured – if a client refuses to cooperate, our agents will see them brought in for forced payment.
