• The UNE changes form and becomes the United Planets of Earth (UPE).

• Adam Socolovich, Kurt’s son, is taken prisoner by the Tevarin’s in The Battle of Idris IV.
• Adam was rescued several days later by a young officer, commonly known as Ivar Messer.

• Ivar Messer and Adam Socolovich kept contact after the war.
• Messer has been promoted to Commander of the UPE.
• Messer grants himself Prime Citizen and transforms the UPE into the United Empire of Earth (UEE).
• The UEE continues to grow and expand, terraforming and colonizing dozens of solar systems.

• One year after the Second Teravin War.
• Socolovich speaks out against Messer’s invasive actions and resigns from his position in the UEE.
• Socolovich is joined by seventeen other officers, creating a legion to combat the UEE’s piracy tendencies.

• They all agreed to make the organization official, creating the organization known as The Black Star Initiative.
