Disney & Sons Trading Corporation / DANDS

Disney & Sons Trading was founded in the late 21st century. It came about as the predecessor to The Walt Disney Company when the original founder – Walt Disney- was awakened from cryogenic sleep to find his company completely opposite to what he imagined. So, in turn ,he moved to a life of trade. However as the use of space trade and transportation began to take over from traditional Earth based transport in the early 26th century, the company began too fail. As their terrestrial fleet of transporters became obsolete the predecessors of Walt Disney faced two different opportunities, follow the masses that were joining space trade and so attempt to make money from an already over-saturated market; or have a go at less ‘honest’ work. So the Disney & Sons Trading Corporation began too use their well known brand as a cover for more covert actions, such as smuggling of self produced narcotics.

Eventually the income from production of narcotics began to fall as tighter laws were put in place, as a result the company decided to convert their ‘mobile workshops’ endeavors into science and discovery vessels. It is a path the company has followed since, however the odd narcotics job have been known to happen.
