EDEN Ventures is a small company that specializes in freelance missions of almost any nature on the border wolds of UEE space.
History
EDEN Ventures was started by a small group of freelancers who wanted protection while traveling the border worlds. The bigger companies usually shied away from taking missions there, so it was up to freelancers to fill that gap. By joining forces to share locations of pirates and hostile races so that others could avoid that sector or rush in to help, they created a band of brothers of sorts. Since then EDEN Ventures have grown into a small company, mostly consisting of freelancers who just need a bit of help now and then. Some of the more dedicated members have taken up positions of administration and organization of larger convoys, but EDEN Ventures is still known as the “lone wolf company” at the borders of UEE space.
Manifesto
EDEN Ventures welcomes members of all sorts, although most people who join just wants to handle their own business without interference from the administration. These members have no obligation to give aid to other members, but have also no right to demand help if needed. EDEN Ventures is a small company, and will most likely always be a small company regardless of the number of members because of this fact. It should mostly be viewed as a community, where members who wishes more responsibility have a chance to advance on the corporate ladder to positions of administration.
Members of EDEN Ventures can usually be found exploring, salvaging, mining, hauling or even working as hired mercenaries on the edge of UEE space.
Charter
EDEN Ventures has the following details concerning rankings within it’s corporation, from highest to lowest:
Board Member
Board members deal with administrative roles and run the company on a daily basis. Becoming a board member is reserved for founders and highly trusted members.
Division Manager
Division managers deals with the organization of such as convoys, mining parties or huge salvage operations in their sector of space. They communicate directly with security officers and operatives in regards to what the job is and how much protection is needed.
Security Officer
Security officers are in charge of organizing protection for larger groups and keeping updated on pirate and hostile actions in their sector of space. To do so, they receive information directly from other members and help sharing it. Some also help set up covert operations, and assist in the gathering of intelligence.
Operative
Operatives have shown they are willing to go that extra mile for the corporation. They are active members who are good with communication and organization skills. They think of the greater good first, and their own profit last.
Freelancer
Freelancers are those who wishes to be more involved in the day-to-day activities within the corporation and offers their services and assistance when needed.
Independent
Independents are the most common members. Known as “lone wolves”, they wish to do their own business at their own time. They can help out if they want, and may also ask for assistance (even if it will not always be given). Independents may also be affiliates from other organizations.
