The Story.

Once, there was a hauler, a humble man in his trusty Freelancer. This man had a very important job: To carry medical supplies to a Vanduul ravaged Vega II. On his way, a group of greedy pirates attacked out of nowhere. He ducked, weaved, and defended himself the best he could, but it was not enough, and the pirates took his systems down with an EMP blast and a few shots to the engines. Luckily he survived, but lost the cargo. He was stranded, with no way home, and nobody to call. After many hours, he was able to contact the Advocacy, and was told help would soon arrive.

As he sat, waiting for his rescue, he began to think. “What if there was a program that could help out people in my situation. One that could quickly save a stranded hauler, or repair a ship damaged by pirates or ‘Dull.” Soon, help arrived, but he was forced to leave his beloved Freelancer derilict in space.

The loss inspired him, and many years later, with help of his childhood friends and family, the Empire Star Ship Association was formed, with the mission of providing fast, reliable service, no matter where you are in the ‘verse. After a slow start and minor success, the business expanded into the insurance market to provide better benifits and competitive prices than the insurance monopoly ProtLife. The idea stuck, and soon ESSA exploded across the known galaxy, with over 1,000 offices across the ‘verse, including some in Banu space!

As of 2947 we are now a proud sponsor of the Murray Cup, and will have a racer join the fray as we show off who is the best aeronautics service in the ‘verse!

ESSA’s ultimate goal is to become the go-to insurance and repair company. In that spirit, you’ll find great rates, friendly and timely service, and very little headache. Your benifits as a member even increase if you’ve been a friend of us for a long time! We aim to create the best repair services one can get in the verse, on-site or otherwise! In this increasingly dangerous universe, it’s always great to have a good mechanic nearby, and what’s better than one who’s always fast, always reliable, and always willing to get the job done? As a member, our associates will be a simple click away from your MobiGlas. Our members get all kinds of benifits in order to get your ship working like new again, including maintenance, repair, electrical servicing, weapons calibration and repair, and towing if you’re stranded in a not-so-friendly part of the ‘verse. Including the above benifits, members will also be able to sign up for an insurance plan, which will cover your ship’s repair or replacement costs should it become damaged, stolen, or lost. We provide a hassle free service, and once you put in a claim for an unrepairable or retrievable ship, we’ll get you a new one quickly and with very little paperwork! Our members will find comparable rates, friendly customer service, and reliable service as an insurance holder.
