Fraternal Order of Galactic Explorers / FOGEX

In early 2948 Entrepreneur Captain JimJangles purchased a Carrack. With his brother BloodyBadger as Executive Officer and a skeleton crew he set out and soon discovered a world with the perfect conditions to sustain human life. Local exploration in the system also revealed all the resources needed to support a settlement so JimJangles returned to known space and purchased a Consolidated Outland Pioneer. After the settlement was built and all the mining and defense support ships required to continue to supply its needs were in place, the Carrack and Pioneer sat idle and both JimJangles and BloodyBadger grew restless.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the process of discovering and settling an alien world and wanting to repeat the adventure as well as to convert the effort into a business model, but wanting to mitigate their own financial risk, the intrepid duo, in 2950, founded the Fraternal Order of Galactic Explorers.
