2935 – A small mining company known as Horizon Resources seeks to expand it’s business starting their own logistical division to sell their mined wares to a broader market. The expansion is succesfull making the company more profitable then ever before.

2943 – Horizon Resources is in financial troubles due to convoys mysteriously dissapearing in space leaving the company nearly bankrupt. When all of a sudden a wealthy investor decides to help the company back on track by purchasing it. This led to him/her becoming it’s new CEO. The following year the company is slowly recovering.

2945 – After the attack of the Vega system Admiral Bishop announces war with the Vanduul creating a huge opportunity to both profit and perform the patriotic duty of a UEE citizen. Knowing this the order is given to gather and sell resources to the Naval ship manifacturers to mobilise more ships for the war effort.

2949 – Helping the war effort Horizon Resources grew in size, thus a restructuring was required. This became the council initiative, a more democratic type of company management where the ordinary employee could be elected for a 2 year position in the council of representatives to help manage the company.

2950 – With the war still ongoing and piracy becoming more rampant the logistical and mining divisions couldn’t rely on the UEE navy and advocacy’s protection anymore. To counter the problem both Naval and army veterans were hired creating a new security division for the company.

2952 – A new parent organisation is created to manage all of the divisions of Horizon Resources, henceforth the Horizon Foundation was created making the CEO their new Founder.
