W.A.S.D / IWASDI

W.A.S.D is a citizen-created group stemming from unfortunate events that occurred over nine centuries ago on a planet called Lojekl.

2140 was the year that changed the citizens of Lojekl lives forever. I mean, c’mon… the planet was melting, and militia groups were forming. The only good thing that came out of that year was that the first spaceship had finally been released. It seemed like a cruel coincidence to some. Only those with enough money or firepower would be able to evacuate on those ships.

The creators of W.A.S.D; not knowing they’d be part of something a lot bigger than they thought, worked as a team to help those less fortunate. Against citizen-created armies and other forces; W.A.S.D members fought to give everyone equal opportunity to exit the burning planet. Between stealing spaceships and sneaking citizens aboard; some see W.A.S.D as the enemy. Resulting in a lot of the members being imprisoned and unable to escape the scorching planet.

Luckily, some members were able to leave on the stolen ships with other citizens. During space travel, they came across multiple planets; some white, looking solid as ice, others made of a thick foggy gas. The citizens and W.A.S.D members, all debating on which one to attempt a landing on. While quickly running out of fuel; they decided on a planet known now as microTech.

Upon landing; a radio transmission comes through, questioning the ships’ purpose. After explaining the prior events and requesting to land, the citizens of microTech seemed to welcome everyone with open arms. The planet microTech had become their new home. Some became miners, bounty hunters, explorers, and even soldiers. Finally, a safe and stable place to live- or so they thought.

Unfortunately, a W.A.S.D member was flying to a moon nearby microTech when a bounty hunter fired at their ship, mistaking it as an enemy. When the member fired back, the bounty hunter decided the member was in fact a criminal for retaliating. The member was sent to an unlawful place called GrimHEX. This place seemed horrible but ended up being an opportunity to grow W.A.S.D further. The imprisoned W.A.S.D member recruited new people; some with a bad rap – according to the more lawful groups around.

After doing their time in the seemingly prison-like GrimHEX, the W.A.S.D members were allowed back into microTech.
