Gentleman Bastards / LOCKE

The Gentleman Bastards’ beginnings are shrouded in mystery and little of them are known to the uninitiated. Rumours suggest talk of a Nameless God and small band of thieves that existed thousands of years ago.

More recently the group’s exploits have once again been whispered and their existence is still largely believed to be a myth. There are those that know better. The Advocacy has several open investigations with suspected ties to the group but no actions have been taken against them at this time. The heist on Associated Sciences and Development, the alleged blackmail of one of Shubin Interstellar’s VPs, and the smuggling of classified goods in Crawshaw to name a few. Even more of their exploits are believed to go unreported due to embarrassed victims and their ability to stay under the radar. Even so, many believe them to be unsung heroes having been suspected of intercepting pirates and preventing slavers.

Many of the groups members are suspected to be highly regarded Citizens in the UEE, many with legitimate businesses and outfits making pining anything on them difficult. They are not necessarily good people, they are not Robin Hood’s but they are not the devil either. The group is believed to operate in the moral “grey” portion of space, having just as many contacts in the underworld as the UEE’s upper crust.

All of this is hearsay however, with no real facts or deeds tied to any individuals.
