SPACE PIRACY
“It may be reasonable to assume that piracy has existed for as long as the oceans were plied for commerce.”

THE OPPRESSED
The classic era of space piracy in the Sol system between 2050 until the mid-2120s was dominated by a rival mercenary group, the Space Picts (notably visible group by the single blood red strip on their ships and garments). Often these space barbarians would commit atrocities to the merchant and trade communities, violating Inter-Galactic Life Dignity Laws.

LIBERATION
Around 2110, a group of Vike Settlers (led by Morgan Blackhand and his 1st mate, Ragnar Bartholomew) in the Oberon-Vega System began organizing a resistance. A resistance so fierce and befitting that would be dubbed, Reign of Terror. The intent was to reign terror upon any Space Pict wearing the blood red strip. In just a mere decade, the oppressed space communities banded together and fought and eradicated the Space Picts. No one would dare wear the blood red strip let alone mention any knowledge of whereabouts of Space Picts.

PROGRESSION
After victoriously defeating the remaining Space Picts top executive leadership in the Battle of the Bloodhounds, most RofT members returned home to their families and loved ones. The organization has been relatively quiet and peaceful since. However, of those RofT members that remain, those that had their entire families wiped out by Space Picts, they’ve vowed to always protect and serve the merchant communities and trade routes of the future. We can all be thankful for the Reign of Terror organization that is here to protect and serve. After all, history never repeats itself, right?

RECRUITMENT
Reign of Terror is always accepting of loyal members. Traitors however will be planked by space ejection, burned by oxygen implosion, or warped hang.

THE CODE
We honor the code, fellow pirates are also granted the rights of Parlay, to which they may speak with a RofT Captain… in case they wish to beg for a quick honorable death, such as vacuum evisceration, or cryogenic flash bones. We are a merciful group.
