The Sinclair Brothers of Charon III started a life of smuggling, after the Civil War that rages across their homeland led to the death of their mother Scathach. The brothers blamed the UEE and its supporters on the opposing side of the war, for not being able to access the medicine needed to save their mother. Blocked trade routes, countless missing shipments and such during the war made it impossible to access even the most basic commodities. The brothers turned to the only option they had, and they scraped together every penny they could to buy their first ship. it was a broken down Freelancer.

They spent weeks struggling to find the parts needed to make her flight worthy. They finally did it though, they had the ship ready for the job ahead. With which they set out to find and smuggle in the medicine needed; After tracking it down and brokering a tough deal with a Xi’an dealer. They were successful in obtaining the dose needed. They raced home, but when they finally made it there; It was to late. Their mother had passed.

Torn apart by the fact that they did not make it in time, they left the planet behind, but not their hatred for the UEE. The brothers eventually named their ship Scathach (SKAW-hock) after their mother, and continued to use the skills they picked up attempting to save her life to make a living. Soon realizing that they really actually enjoyed the work. They became known as The Sca Runners because of their ship, and began gaining notoriety throughout the verse. Taking every chance they could to slight the UEE. Eventually the brothers picked up a few trusted companions over the years, from all over the verse. The crew eventually became a Family, one that only ever put one thing over profit, each other.

The crew finally upgraded their ship to an Anvil Carrack, becoming their home and base of operations. With a mobile trading hub being built on Borea: Magnus II, the crew have gained a steady hold on their relations and trade relations in the many known systems. With connections between both the Banu and Xi’An Black Market traders. Today they reside in the Stanton system where they exploit the presence of large corporations.
