Exploration is the way to pave the expansion of the mind and to foster growth and prosperity. Without the opportunity to discover, existence would be pointless. This is why at Starscape Exploration Group, we are dedicated to exploration so we can learn, grow, and live with knowledge.
History
Humanity has come a long way. Its history is something to be marveled at with an understanding of the richness behind it. Centuries have passed and yet, there is something that has never changed in it. That something is the will to discover. Throughout history, humanity always moved to explore the unknown, to learn what is out there. When our ancestors lived on Earth, they explored as much of the planet to understand the world around them. Now, we are here exploring every corner of the universe.
Looking back at all of this, one can say that we have come a long way, and we have. If it was not for the need to explore and to learn, we would still be back on Earth living as our ancestors have. Here at Starscape Exploration Group, we believe in the power of exploration. It is the fuel behind the prosperity and growth that humanity has seen throughout the centuries. This need to explore, this philosophy is what we at Starscape Exploration Group believe in.
It is because of this idea that the organization was formed as a way to bring people together to work towards a common goal. Discovering what is out there among the stars is crucial for the survival of mankind. It is important to appreciate curiosity since it has also been the driving force behind the discoveries humanity has made. All it took was the will to find out what was out there, what was waiting for us to uncover, to study, and to utilize.
Knowledge has always been the key to the betterment of mankind. The persistent need to explore has allowed us to create so much throughout history from advances in science and medicine, to the creation of the first ships. At Starscape Exploration Group, we take that same drive to explore the universe. Through curiosity will we discover who we are and where we come from. Exploration will be the means to finding that out.
Why not take the opportunity to join us and create a legacy that you can be proud of? Perhaps one day, you will discover something important and become known for that in history.
Manifesto
To explore and discover, that is what Starscape Exploration Group is about. Our guiding principles are simple, discover what is out there for the betterment of mankind. We have no interests in becoming involved in roles that can jeopardize what we strive to create.
We will work with anyone who is interested in creating and supporting something bigger than themselves.
Our purpose is simple:
Mission: To explore all that the ‘verse has to offer.
Vision: To become a large network that will assist other organizations with similar goals.
Values: Science and discovery to better mankind.
Everything that will be done is to ensure that the above is achieved.
Charter
The Charter of Starscape Exploration Group is designed to support the Manifesto.
Part 1: Membership
1. Members must be dedicated or have interest in exploration, resources, and trade.
2. Any discoveries made should be shared with the rest of the group. People who make a discovery will receive proper credit for their work.
3. Members of SSEG are allowed to create their own projects as long as it follows these guidelines:
3A. The project will not interfere with anyone’s work.
3B. The project is legal and will not cause any issues with authorities.
3C. The project is designed to help SSEG grow as well as allowing other science-based organizations to learn as well.
3D. Proper credit for anyone involved in a project must be given as well as detailing exactly what each member of the project did.
Part 2: Security and similar roles
1. Roles such as security and bounty hunting will be allowed.
2. These role should focus more on protecting SSEG’s interests and members.
3. Security will focus primarily on protecting the internals and assets of the organization whereas bounty hunting will focus primarily in dealing with anyone who commits a crime/act against the organization and its partners. Both roles can and should work together to ensure that the organization is protected.
Part 3: Other Roles
1. Other roles that are considered legal are also allowed, as long as they support exploration and the sharing of knowledge.
2. Members must refrain from committing acts of piracy as such a role will result in the removal of the offending member.
Part 4: Role play
1. Role play is not necessary. Members are free to choose whether they want to role play or not. The organization in no way will focus on role playing and it is up to members to decide if they want to do it for a mission or for some event. Role play is simply a bonus and it will not be enforced in any way.
2. If a member chooses to do a role play with other members of the organization, please do so in a manner that does not interfere with the activities of other members who do not wish to be part in a role playing situation.
