The Galactic Trading Corperation / TGTC

The CTC ( Criswell Trading Company ) has been founded in 1940 by Eldon Criswell, during the second world war.
His company had a lot of good quality weapons and medicine for trade.
He got his fortune by selling lots of weapons and medicine to the allies that were fighting at the front in Europe.
After 1 more year of war his company expanded because the US joined the war against the Nazis,
what made him able to sell even more goods to America that was in need of a lot weapons for the soldiers en medicine for the sick and wounded soldiers.
From this point Criswell’s Company started creating tanks en started developing some more technologies that would give the US an advantage over the Nazis.
The next years during WW II he invested millions into research of new weapons the US could use against the Nazis and the Japanese.
After some years he had created a new weapon to use against the japanese, the atomic bomb.
After the Second World War had ended, his company still kept developing weapons but slowly started creating more then just weapons.
His Company started to grow in 1951 when he started trading with more countries all over the world.
He traded almost in everything you could think of in that time ranging from food to weapons.
When he died in 1977, his son (Albert Criswell) took over and stopped creating weapons and only traded in goods that were not deadly.
CTC started to grow in power and influence in the world until 2065,when the grandson of Eldon Criswell died by murder and there was no one left that had interest in the Company.The Company could not be profitable anymore after the murder and it was shutdown and closed.

30 years before the first quantum drive was invented, the company was refounded by Stephen Criswell from Eldon’s bloodline.
He made the Company profitable again and started making a lot of money, with this money he sponsored RSI for their research.
The research of RSI was to try and create the very first quantum drive that is able to travel at 1/100 the speed of light.

With this invention space travel was made way easier. After the first quantum drive engine had been made CTC kept sponsoring RSI until 2438 when the human race found the first ever alien race. After this discovery the UEE made an peace treaty with the Banu and an trading agreement. From this moment on the CTC has been doped as The Galactic Trading Corporation (TGTC). The Company directly started trading a lot with the Banu they exchanged weapons, ships, technologies and much more. This made the Company more successful then they have ever been through out human history, it was the first company that traded so much with the Banu. 92 Years later after the discovery of the Xi’an trading has become even more profitable since the company was now able to trade with this species as well. All this trading was done secretly because there was an cold war and the UEE did not want to trade with them and imprisoned people who did trade with them. The trading went well for 34 years until a friend betrayed the owner of the company and let him arrested. TGTC had been closed until the son of the owner claimed his father trading corporation. This did not happen and Mardyth Prescott bought the company for 13.6 billions dollars and claimed ownership over the corporation. He stopped the trade with the Xi’an and only traded within the UEE and with the Banu. After Prescott the company was able to trade in peace until the arrival of the Vanduul that raided colonies and factories of TGTC. Trading became harder from this time on and they were not able to trade as much as they were able to in the past. Now Prescott had to trade with care and let his transports be protected by mercenaries or other kind of people that would do this work for him. The company kept being in danger still, even now.
