History
VicSweeney Enterprises, Ltd
We started as an earth seafaring shipping organization. As a family we have been moving freight around the Great Lakes of Ontario Canada for generations. Then things started to change, more and more freight was being routed into space. It took time to talk the family elders into making the leap into orbit.
We made the move into orbital transfers, and for another dozen generations this was enough. We made a good living pushing weight into orbit with efficient, re-usable, but ultimately antiquated technology. Once again times changed, star ships became capable of landing on planet and dedicated orbital transfer companies were no longer needed. So again the family got together and after much deliberation changed again.
We became an in-system freight company for a few generations. We bought some second gen in-system hulls and refit them for freight. This worked well for quite a while as the scramble to space continued. But again things changed as more systems were discovered and more colonies were formed. Again the elders came together and tried to re-imagine the company. This lead to a schism….
Most of the family decided to go in on a colonial effort on the rim ( at the time ). While some of the family stayed behind in Earth system and remained as local freight shippers. Over time those who stayed behind dwindled and that arm of the family slowly disappeared, spinning off into different directions.
Those that chose to go out to the colonies tried to maintain the corporation, but the stresses of early colonization were ultimately too much for the small family business. For many generations the Family concentrated on survival.
Now after many long years the Family has again become stable and VicSweeney Enterprises, Ltd has once again launched back into the ‘verse. A humble start, but a start.

We at VicSweeney Enterprises are always looking for commercial contracts to gainfully employ our staff and build our exploration fund.
Started by my father as a Hauling business VE is a small but dependable company.
And while hauling is a great industry, I have been diversifying our interests into mining and Exploration. As a full service contractor, we at VE can offer small scale mining, hauling, and logistical support. This makes us an exceptional candidate for your consideration as we can be given a site to mine out, without concern for any additional resources being required.
Our fleet includes a MISC Prospector ( Mining Operations ), MISC Hull B ( transport ), MISC Freelancer ( Resupply ), Drake Caterpillar ( Medical and Human Support), Anvil Carrack ( Exploration ), and several small craft ( For Security ). Making us Ideally set up for remote independent operations.
